Elif's practice focuses on international dispute settlement in various sectors, especially in energy, mining, and infrastructure. She has advised her clients in arbitrations under the rules of ICC, LCIA and ICSID.

Before joining Potestas Partners, Elif worked at reputable international and Turkish law firms serving international clients in different areas of law. She spent a year at one of the leading English law firms in London after having worked as in-house legal counsel at one of the largest conglomerates in Turkey, operating in, among others, gold mining, petroleum and construction sectors. 

Elif is the Secretary General of the Energy Disputes Arbitration Center (EDAC) and is the Vice President of the Organizing Committee of Istanbul Arbitration Week (ISTAW), the biggest annual arbitration event in Turkey.

Elif obtained her LL.B. from Bilkent University and holds an LL.M. in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution from the Queen Mary University of London.

Elif is a qualified lawyer admitted to practice in Turkey.
